with the heading: “Chapter: The Prophet’s supplication for his servant to have a long life and abundant wealth.” Al-Hafiz mentioned that al-Bukhari thereby alluded to this route through Sinan.
2542 — “O Saʿd! Beware lest you come on the Day of Resurrection carrying a camel that is braying.”
Al-Bazzar recorded it in his Musnad (p. 92, al-Zawaʾid): Saʿid ibn Yahya ibn Saʿid al-Umawi narrated to us: My father narrated to us: Yahya ibn Saʿid al-Ansari narrated to us, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Saʿd ibn ʿUbadah as a collector of alms, and he said”—then he mentioned it.
