in abundance, containing a rich and blessed store of Prophetic character and Muhammadan etiquette, such as hadiths (2501, 2570, 2605, 2616, 2648, and 2658).
There are also many juristic benefits, such as what is found under hadith (2565) concerning the meaning of the hadith: “You and your property belong to your father.”
Hadith (2571) contains an important discussion of Ibn Hazm’s view that a woman may make a gift without her husband’s permission.
Hadith (2920) establishes the validity of praying two rak‘ahs after the afternoon prayer, and that the time when prayer is disliked thereafter is only when the sun has begun to yellow.
There is also a fine collection of supplications and remembrances, such as hadiths (2506, 2524, 2563, 2578, 2598, 2664, 2686, 2727, 2753, 2754, 2755, and so on), in addition to other juristic and hadith-related benefits and various subjects, whose headings may be consulted through the different indexes.
Distinguished readers will also find in this volume hadiths that have been repeated either in earlier volumes of this “Series” or in my other books and writings. I have retained them here for further benefits, or for additional notes and observations, whether concerning the text of the hadith, its chain of transmission, its source documentation, or its explanation and the deductions drawn from it, such as hadiths: (2541, 2563, 2579, 2590, 2652, 2719, 2724, 2792, 2848, ...).
