“And for this reason the author marked it as authentic!” I say: The flaw in this is obvious. Accordingly, he declared its chain of transmission authentic in al-Taysīr!
2169 — “If you knew what awaits you with Allah, you would wish for your need and poverty to increase.”
Al-Tirmidhī (2369), Ibn Ḥibbān (2538), Aḥmad (6/18–19), and Abū Nuʿaym in al-Ḥilyah (2/17) narrated it through Ḥaywah ibn Shurayḥ: Abū Hāniʾ informed me, from ʿAmr ibn Mālik, that he heard Faḍālah ibn ʿUbayd say: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led the people in prayer, some men would fall from their standing position during the prayer because of the severe deprivation they suffered. They were among the people of al-Suffah, so that the Bedouins would say, ‘These people are mad.’ When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he would turn to them and say…” He then mentioned it.

2170 — “If you were to go out to our camels and take some of their urine and milk.”
Abū ʿUbayd narrated it in al-Gharīb (28/2): Hushaym narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Ṣuhayb and Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl, from Anas, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), in the hadith concerning the group from ʿUraynah who came to him in Medina and found its climate unhealthy. He said: “Go out…”—the hadith. They did so and recovered, but then they attacked the shepherds, killed them, drove off the camels, and apostatized from Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent men in pursuit of them. They were brought back, whereupon he had their hands and feet cut off, their eyes gouged out, and left them on the lava plain until they died.
