ʿUrwah, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said it. Al-Bazzar said: “We know of no report from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, except through this route.”
I say: Al-Hafiz said in Zawaʾid al-Bazzar (p. 209): “Its narrators are trustworthy.” Yaʿqub is Ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Qummi, of whom al-Hafiz said: “Truthful, but he makes mistakes.” ʿAnbasah is Ibn Saʿid ibn al-Durays al-Asadi, and he is trustworthy. Al-Bazzar also narrated from Abu Hurayrah, as a Prophetic report: “The execution of a man while restrained expiates the sins that preceded it.” Al-Haythami said: “Its chain contains Salih ibn Musa ibn Talhah, who is abandoned.”

Ibn Majah (1/468), Ahmad (2/287, 343), and Muhammad ibn Makhlad al-ʿAttar (2/19/1) narrated it from Muhammad ibn ʿAmr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: “A funeral procession passed by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he stood and said it.”
I say: This is a good chain of transmission. It was also narrated by Ismaʿil ibn Jaʿfar: al-ʿAlaʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah and Abu
