without losing any of their benefits. At precisely this stage, my father took the book with him to his place of rest and seclusion. Allah bestowed His blessings upon him and granted him well-being, and one would see him devoted to it, without distinguishing between the hours of night and day, until he completed the first index. He then had to return home, but the bitter winter intensified his pain and illness, forcing him to stop before completing the remaining indexes. Some employees of the “Islamic Library” were therefore entrusted with completing them and correcting their proofs. Regrettably, my father was unable to examine and review them as he had wished.
In order that Muslims might benefit from the noble hadith contained in the book, and that the abundant knowledge it holds should not be left idle, the book had to be issued in this form. What cannot be fully attained should not be wholly abandoned.
We ask Allah Most High to reward our venerable father, on our behalf and on behalf of the Muslims, with the finest reward; to prolong his life; to grant him health and well-being; and to bless his time, so that he may continue to enrich the Muslims with his books and writings, overseeing their printing and publication himself, that Muslims throughout the earth, in its east and west, may benefit from them. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, Responsive.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.
