I say: Its chain of transmission is authentic. Its narrators are trustworthy and are among Muslim’s narrators, except for al-Ḥasan ibn Abī al-Rabīʿ al-Jurjānī, who is trustworthy. Al-Mundhirī overlooked this exception and said: “Ibn Mājah narrated it, and its narrators are trustworthy, having been relied upon by both al-Bukhārī and Muslim, except for Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān, whose reports were relied upon by Muslim alone!”
1717 — “He created every human being among the children of Adam with three hundred and sixty joints. Whoever declares the greatness of Allah, praises Allah, declares the oneness of Allah, glorifies Allah, seeks Allah’s forgiveness, removes a stone, a thorn, or a bone from people’s path, enjoins what is right, or forbids what is wrong—performing a number of such deeds equal to those three hundred and sixty joints—will reach the evening that day having moved himself away from the Fire.”
Muslim (3/82) and Abū al-Shaykh in al-ʿAẓamah (12/20/2) recorded it through several routes from Muʿāwiyah ibn Salām, from Zayd, who informed him from his grandfather Abū Salām, who said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Farūkh narrated to us that he heard ʿĀʾishah say—then he cited it as a report attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
1718 — “There is no one between heaven and earth who does not know that I am the Messenger of Allah, except the disobedient among the jinn and humankind.”
Al-Dārimī (1/11), Ibn Ḥibbān in al-Thiqāt, as will follow, and Aḥmad (3/310) recorded it through al-Ajlaḥ, from al-Dhayyāl ibn Ḥarmalah, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who said: “We came with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to an enclosed garden belonging to the Banū al-Najjār. There was a camel in it which would charge at anyone who entered the enclosure. They mentioned this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he came to it and called it. It came, placing its lower lip upon the ground, until it knelt before him. He said, ‘Bring me a halter,’ and he put the halter on it and handed it over to its owner. Then he turned and said …” Then he cited it.
I say: This is a good chain of transmission. Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned al-Dhayyāl ibn Ḥarmalah (1/2/451).
