It was also narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2/56), Ibn Hibban (2541), and al-Hakim (1/35), as well as by Ibn al-Mubarak in al-Zuhd (553)—and, through him, by al-Quda‘i in his Musnad (folio 52/1)—and by Ahmad (6/19), through Haywah ibn Shurayh: Abu Hani informed me ... with the wording: “Blessed is the one who is guided ...” the hadith. I say: The correct view is that it is authentic only, as they both said regarding the first narration, for Muslim did not narrate anything from Amr ibn Malik. It has a corroborating report narrated by Husam ibn Musak, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, attributed to the Prophet, with the wording: “Blessed is the one who embraces Islam and whose livelihood is sufficient.” Abu Abd Allah al-Razi narrated it in his Shaykhah (folio 26/2). However, al-Hafiz said of this Husam: “Weak, and nearly abandoned.”
It has another authentic corroborating report, similar to the first narration, on the authority of Abd Allah ibn Amr, attributed to the Prophet. Its documentation has already preceded under no. 129, where we mentioned three chains for it that are not to be found in any other book.

Al-Bazzar narrated it in his Musnad (p. 170—its supplementary reports): Abd Allah ibn Sa‘id narrated to us:
