I say: This is a good mursal chain of transmission. Its narrators are trustworthy transmitters of the two Shaykhs, apart from Abu Sinan, who is Sa'id ibn Sinan al-Burjumi al-Shaybani, the younger. Al-Hafiz said: “He is truthful, but has errors.” Muslim also included reports from him.
The hadith has a supporting report, recorded by Abu Muhammad al-'Adl in al-Fawa'id (fol. 277/1), through 'Ali ibn 'Asim, who said: Yahya al-Bakka' narrated to us; Ibn 'Umar informed me, attributing it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the same wording, adding: “after the sun has passed the zenith.” This chain is weak: Yahya al-Bakka', who is Ibn Muslim, is weak, as stated in al-Taqrib; and 'Ali ibn 'Asim is truthful but makes mistakes. Nevertheless, in my view the hadith is good by virtue of the two routes taken together. And Allah knows best.
I then found the hadith in Ibn Nasr’s Qiyam al-Layl, where he recorded it (p. 78) through the route mentioned above, except that he added: from 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Al-Tirmidhi, al-Khatib in al-Tarikh (1/253), and Ibn al-Jawzi in Minhaj al-Qasidin (1/40/1) likewise narrated it, adding: “There is nothing except that it glorifies Allah Most High at that hour.” Al-Tirmidhi said: “It is singular; we know it only through the hadith of 'Ali ibn 'Asim.”
1432 — “Whoever wishes to maintain ties with his father in his grave, let him maintain ties with his father’s brothers after his death.”
It was recorded by Abu Ya'la (3/1361—the Maktab facsimile edition) and Ibn Hibban (2031), through Hudbah ibn Khalid, who said: Hazm ibn Abi Hazm narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Abu Burdah, who said:
“I arrived in Medina, and 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar came to me and said, ‘Do you know why I came to you?’ I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say’”—then he mentioned it—“‘There had been brotherhood and affection between my father, 'Umar, and your father; so I wished to maintain that bond.’”
