Fourth: The Shiite has inserted into this report an addition that has no basis in al-Musannaf: his statement, “from the soil of Madinah the Illuminated.” As you have seen, this is mentioned in neither of its two versions.
Do you know why the Shiite fabricated this addition to the report? He realized that, if left as Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated it, it offered no evidence whatsoever for making a disc from the blessed soil—namely, that of Madinah the Illuminated—upon which to prostrate. He therefore appended this addition in order to give readers the impression that Masruq—may Allah be pleased with him—had taken a disc from Madinah to prostrate upon it in pursuit of blessing. Once he had established this for himself, he then inferred from it the permissibility of making a disc from the soil of Karbala, on the basis that the two lands share the quality of sanctity!
Once you realize that the basis of this analogy is false and without foundation, being nothing more than the Shiite’s fabrication, you will realize that what is analogized to it is likewise false. As has been said: “Can a shadow be straight when the stick is crooked?”
So reflect, dear reader, on the extent of the Shiites’ audacity in lying—even against the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him—in order to support the misguidance upon which they stand. You will then recognize the truth of what the imams said in describing them: “The Rafidah are the most mendacious of sects!”
Among his lies is his statement (p. 9): “It is reported in Sahih al-Bukhari, on page (!) 331 of volume 1, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, disliked praying upon anything other than the ground.” This is a lie in two respects:
First: This wording does not occur in Sahih al-Bukhari, neither from him, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from any of the early righteous predecessors.
Second: Rather, al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned it in his commentary on al-Bukhari (vol. 1, p. 388, al-Bahiyyah Press), on the authority of Urwah. He said: “Ibn Abi Shaybah related from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr that he disliked praying upon anything other than the ground.”
