The fourth is from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad: Aishah fell ill, and Ibn Abbas came to her and said: “O Mother of the Believers, you are about to join those who have gone on ahead in truth: the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr.”
Al-Bukhari narrated it (7/85, Fath), and al-Hakim (4/9) narrated it through another chain from Ibn Abbas, declaring: “Its chain of transmission is authentic.” Al-Dhahabi agreed with him.
I say: It meets Muslim’s conditions.
The fifth is from Abu Wa'il, who said: “When Ali sent Ammar and al-Hasan to Kufa to call its people to mobilize, Ammar delivered a sermon and said: ‘By Allah, I know that she is the Prophet’s wife in this world and the Hereafter; yet Allah is testing you to see whether you will follow Him or follow her.’” Al-Bukhari and Ahmad (4/265) narrated it. Al-Hakim (4/6) also narrated it through Abdullah ibn Ziyad al-Asadi, who said: “I heard Ammar ibn Yasir swear by Allah that she was the Prophet’s wife, peace and blessings be upon him, in this world and the Hereafter.” He declared: “It is authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs.” Al-Dhahabi agreed with him.
I say: Muslim did not narrate anything from either Abdullah ibn Ziyad or Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash, who appears in the chain leading to him. Ibn al-Tin said concerning al-Bukhari’s hadith: “It establishes definitively that she will be in Paradise, since he would not have said this except on the basis of divinely conveyed knowledge.”
1143 — “Allah says: ‘O son of Adam, how can you render Me incapable, when I created you from something like this? Then, when I fashioned you and proportioned you, you walked about in two cloaks, and the earth groaned beneath your footsteps—that is, in complaint. Then you amassed and withheld, until, when the soul reached the throats, you said: “Shall I give in charity?” But when is the time for charity?!’”
Ibn Majah narrated it in abbreviated form (2/157), as did al-Hakim (2/502 and 323), Ahmad (4/210), and Ibn Sad (7/427), through Hariz ibn Uthman, who said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Maysarah narrated to us from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from Busr ibn Jahhash al-Qurashi, who said:
