Ahmad reported it (6/79) with a good chain of transmission, as al-Mundhiri stated in al-Targhīb (2/22), and al-Hafiz followed him in al-Fatḥ (3/221)—were it not for al-Muttalib’s use of the ambiguous transmission formula, for he frequently practiced concealment in transmission, as stated in al-Taqrīb. Moreover, they differed over whether his having heard directly from ‘A’ishah is established: Abu Hatim denied it, while Abu Zur‘ah said, “We hope that he heard from her.”

Ibn Majah (2/3), Ibn Abi ‘Asim in al-Sunnah (fol. 34/2), al-Hakim (2/3), al-Bayhaqi (5/264), and Abu Nu‘aym in al-Hilyah (3/265) reported it through Rabi‘ah ibn Abi ‘Abd al-Rahman, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Sa‘id al-Ansari, from Abu Humayd al-Sa‘idi, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said it. Al-Hakim said: “Authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs.” Al-Dhahabi concurred.

899 — “Allah loves one who is accommodating in selling, accommodating in buying, and accommodating in settling debts.”
Al-Tirmidhi reported it (2/273—Tuhfah): Abu Kurayb informed us; Ishaq ibn Sulayman related to us; from Mughīrah ibn Muslim; from Yunus; from al-Hasan; from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said it. He said:
