663 — “Avoid these filthy acts which Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has forbidden. Whoever commits any of them should conceal himself under Allah’s concealment, for whoever exposes himself to us, we shall enforce Allah’s Book against him.”
Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Qaṭṭān transmitted it in his Hadith collection (56/1), and al-Bayhaqī transmitted it from him (8/330): Ḥafṣ ibn ʿAmr al-Riyālī narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī narrated to us; he said: I heard Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd al-Anṣārī say: ʿAbdullāh ibn Dīnār narrated to me from Ibn ʿUmar that, after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had the man from Aslam stoned, he said—and then mentioned it.
Al-ʿUqaylī (203) also transmitted it through al-Thaqafī, as well as through another route from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd with the same chain; in one narration, he added the words placed between the brackets. Its chain is good, while the original report is authentic.
It was also transmitted by Abū al-Qāsim al-Ḥannāʾī in al-Muntaqā min Ḥadīth al-Jaṣṣāṣ wa-Abī Bakr al-Ḥannāʾī (160/2), and by Ibn Samʿūn in al-Amālī (2/183/2), through other routes from al-Riyālī with the same chain. Anas ibn ʿIyāḍ corroborated him from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd with the same chain, including the addition. It was transmitted by al-Ṭaḥāwī in al-Mushkil (1/20), al-Bayhaqī, and al-Ḥākim
