The hadith master, Shaykh al-Musnid Zayn al-Dīn Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Muʾammal ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn Manṣūr ibn al-Muʾammal al-Bālisī, informed us; the text was read to him while I listened in the year 669 AH. The transmitters just mentioned likewise conveyed it, with their isnād back to al-Anṣārī, who said:
Sulaymān al-Taymī narrated to me from Anas ibn Mālik, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.”
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْمُسْنَدُ زَيْنُ الدِّينِ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ الْبَالِسِيُّ، قَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ سَنَةَ ٦٦٩، وَالْمَذْكُورُونَ بِسَنَدِهِمْ إِلَى الْأَنْصَارِيِّ،
قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،
قَالَ:
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
«مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
