The righteous shaykha Umm Muḥammad Zaynab bint Aḥmad ibn ʿUmar ibn Kāmil al-Maqdisiyyah informed us—this was read to her while I listened in the year 684 AH, together with Abū ʿAbd Allāh ibn Badr, Abū al-ʿAbbās ibn Shaybān, and Ibn al-ʿAsqalānī. They said:
Ibn Ṭabarzad informed us; Ibn al-Bayḍāwī, al-Qazzāz, and Ibn Yūsuf also informed us. They said:
Ibn al-Maslamah informed us; al-Mukhliṣ informed us; Abū al-Qāsim ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad informed us; al-Ḥasan ibn Isrāʾīl al-Nahrtīrī narrated to us; ʿĪsā ibn Yūnus narrated to us, from Usāmah ibn Zayd, from Sulaymān ibn Yasār, from Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wake up in a state of major ritual impurity without having experienced a wet dream, and he would then complete his fast.”
