Al-Arbaʿūn al-Taymiyya - Ibn Taimiya - (31)

The jurist, Sayf al-Dīn Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyā son of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān son of Najm son of ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Ḥanbalī, informed us. He read the text aloud to him while I listened, on Friday, the 10th of Shawwāl in the year 669 AH. The same transmission was conveyed by Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad son of ʿAbd al-Munʿim son of al-Qawwās; al-Muʾammal son of Muḥammad al-Bālīsī; Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad son of Abī Bakr al-ʿĀmirī in his History; Abū al-ʿAbbās Aḥmad son of Shaybān; Abū Bakr son of Muḥammad al-Harawī; Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyā son of Abī Manṣūr son of al-Ṣayrafī; Abū al-Faraj ʿAbd al-Raḥmān son of Sulaymān al-Baghdādī; al-Shams son of al-Zayn; al-Kamāl ʿAbd al-Raḥīm; Ibn al-ʿAsqalānī; Zaynab daughter of Makkī; and Sitt al-ʿArab.

The first of these, together with Ibn Shaybān and Zaynab, said: Abū Ḥafṣ ʿUmar son of Muḥammad son of Tabarzad informed us.

The others, along with Ibn Shaybān, said: Zayd son of al-Ḥasan al-Kindī informed us. Ibn al-Ṣayrafī added: “And Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz son of Maʿālī son of Ghunaymah son of Munīnā—he read it to him.”

They continued: The judge Abū Bakr Muḥammad son of ʿAbd al-Bāqī son of Muḥammad son of ʿAbd Allāh al-Anṣārī informed us; Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm son of ʿUmar son of Aḥmad al-Barmakī informed us; Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd Allāh son of Ibrāhīm son of Ayyūb son of Māsī informed us; Abū Muslim Ibrāhīm son of ʿAbd Allāh son of Muslim al-Kajji narrated to us; Muḥammad son of ʿAbd Allāh al-Anṣārī narrated to us; Ḥumayd narrated to me, from Anas,

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَقِيهُ سَيْفُ الدِّينِ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَجْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَنْبَلِيُّ، قَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ عَاشِرِ شَوَّالٍ سَنَةَ ٦٦٩، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُنْعِمِ بْنِ الْقَوَّاسِ، وَالْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَالِسِيُّ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَامِرِيُّ فِي التَّارِيخِ، وَأَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَرَوِيُّ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ، وَأَبُو الْفَرَجِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، وَالشَّمْسُ بْنُ الزَّيْنِ، وَالْكَمَالُ عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ، وَابْنُ الْعَسْقَلَانِيِّ، وَزَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ مَكِّيٍّ، وَسِتُّ الْعَرَبِ. قَالَ الْأَوَّلُ، وَابْنُ شَيْبَانَ، وَزَيْنَبُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَبَرْزَدَ. وَقَالَ الْبَاقُونَ، وَابْنُ شَيْبَانَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْكِنْدِيُّ، زَادَ ابْنُ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ، فَقَالَ: وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مَعَالِي بْنِ غُنَيْمَةَ بْنِ منينَا، قَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِ، قَالُوا: أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاضِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْبَرْمَكِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مَاسِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْكَجِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،
