62 – Ahmad ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā al-Shaybānī narrated to me; he said: Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Kūfī narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Kaysān, from Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī, that the Prophet ﷺ taught ʿAlī a supplication to recite whenever something weighed heavily upon him. ʿAlī would in turn teach it to his children:
“O Ever-Existing before all things, O Originator of every thing, O Ever-Existing after all things, deal with my affair in such-and-such a way.”
