Al-Faraj ba'd al-ShiddaIbn Abi al-Dunya

48 – Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; ʿAffan ibn Muslim reported to us, from ʿAbd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad al-ʿAbdi. Mujammaʿ ibn Yahya narrated to me, and Abu al-ʿAyuf Saʿb—or ⦗57⦘ Suʿayb—al-ʿAnazi told me, from Asmaʾ bint ʿUmays, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever is stricken by distress, anxiety, illness, hardship, humiliation, or poverty and then says, ‘Allah is my Lord; He has no partner,’ that burden will be removed from him.”
