33 – Harun ibn Sufyan narrated to me; Ubayd ibn Muhammad narrated to me; ⦗48⦘ Muhammad ibn Muhajir al-Qurashi told me; he said: Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Saʿd, from his father, from his grandfather, reported:

We were seated with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, “Shall I not tell you—indeed, relate to you—something which, if any one of you is overtaken by distress or a worldly trial, he invokes his Lord with it and He lifts the hardship from him?” They replied, “Yes, indeed.” He said, “The supplication of Dhu al-Nun. He said: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! I was truly among the wrongdoers.’” [al-Anbiyaʾ 87]
