27 – Ahmad ibn Yusuf ibn Khalid narrated to us; he said: Ruwaym ibn Yazid narrated to us; he said: Layth ibn Saʿd narrated to us, from ʿIsa ibn Muhammad ibn Iyas ibn Bukayr, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from a man of the tribe of Ashjaʿ, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Seek goodness throughout the whole span of your lives, and expose yourselves to the gentle breezes of Allah’s mercy, for Allah has breezes of His mercy that He lets reach whom He wills among His servants. And ask Allah to conceal your shortcomings and to grant you safety from your fears.”
