24 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; he said: ʿAmmār ibn ʿUthmān narrated to me; he said: Bishr ibn Bashshār al-Mujāshiʿī—who was among the devoted worshippers—narrated to me; he said: I said to a worshipper, “Give me some advice.” He replied: “Submit yourself to al-qadar (the divine decree) wherever it places you, for that will more likely free your heart and lighten your cares. But beware of letting this anger you, lest wrath descend upon you while you remain heedless and unaware of it.”
