309 – Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us; he said: Hassan ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-Sari ibn Yahya narrated to us, from Farqad al-Sabkhi, that Solomon, son of David—peace be upon him—used to feed the people ⦗185⦘ with fine white bread, while he himself ate barley bread.
٣٠٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ السَّبَخِيِّ، «أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ دَاوُدَ ﵉، كَانَ يُطْعِمُ النَّاسَ ⦗١٨٥⦘ الْحُوَّارَى، وَيَأْكُلُ هُوَ مِنْ خُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ»
