281 – Ahmad ibn Uthman ibn Hakim al-Awdi narrated to us; he said: ⦗169⦘ al-Husayn ibn Ali, the nephew of Layth, narrated to us; he said: Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Sharik, from his father, who said:
When Ali married Umm al-Banin bint Hazim, he stayed with her for seven nights. On the seventh day a group of women came to visit her, so Ali gave Qanbar a dirham and said, “Buy grapes for them with it.”
٢٨١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ⦗١٦٩⦘ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ابْنِ أَخِي لَيْثٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ عَلِيٌّ أُمَّ الْبَنِينَ بِنْتَ حَازِمٍ، أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعَةً، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْيَوْمُ السَّابِعُ، أَتَاهَا نِسْوَةٌ، فَأَعْطَى عَلِيٌّ قُنْبَرًا دِرْهَمًا، فَقَالَ: «اشْتَرِ لَهُنَّ بِهِ عِنَبًا»
