255 – Muhammad said: Hakim ibn Jaʿfar narrated to me, saying, “I visited Mismaʿ ibn ʿAsim one day, and he produced a small dish of olives with no bread alongside it. He then said, ‘Eat this, for by Allah we have no bread to give you to eat with it.’”
٢٥٥ - قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ مِسْمَعَ بْنَ عَاصِمٍ يَوْمًا، فَأَخْرَجَ إِلَيَّ سُكُرَّجَةَ زَيْتُونٍ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا خُبْزٌ، فَقَالَ: «كُلْ هَذَا، فَوَاللَّهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا خُبْزٌ نُطْعِمُكَ فَتَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ»
