33 – ʿAlī ibn Muslim ibn Saʿīd related to us; he said: ʿAbbād ibn ʿAbbād narrated to us, from Jaʿfar ibn az-Zubayr, from al-Qāsim ibn ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān, from Abū Umāmah, who said:

A duck stuffed with khabīs (a sweet confection) was brought to ʿAlī, may Allah be pleased with him. He remarked, “Over things like this the Quraysh are slaughtering one another!”
