239 – Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us; he said: Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Sharik, from Asim ibn Kulayb, from Muhammad ibn Kaʿb, who said: I heard ʿAli say, “I remember being with the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—while I was fastening a stone to my stomach out of hunger.”
