4 – Al-Hasan ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to me; he said: Abu Rajaʾ reported—from someone who heard Abu Juhaifa, from Abu Juhaifa himself—that he once belched in the gathering of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whereupon the Prophet said, “Restrict your belching, for those who will suffer the longest hunger on the Day of Resurrection are the very ones who were most sated in this world.” Abu Juhaifa added, “I have not eaten to satiety for thirty years.”
