- Muḥammad ibn Sallām al-Jumaḥī narrated to us, ⦗145⦘ that al-Ḥasan once invited a man to share his meal. The man replied, “I have already eaten and I am in no condition to eat again.” Al-Ḥasan exclaimed, “Subḥān Allah (Glory be to Allah)! Would a believer really eat to the point that he cannot come back to the table?”
