226 – Muhammad said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Taymī narrated to me, saying, “ʿUqaybah ibn Faḍalah related to me, from one of his teachers, who said: ‘I found in one of the earlier writings: “No people have ever approached Allah with anything better than prolonged hunger.”’”
