Al-Ju'Ibn Abi al-Dunya

216 – Khalid ibn Khidash narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us; he said: ʿAmr—meaning Ibn al-Harith—informed me that Bukayr—meaning Ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Ashajj—told him that ʿUmar ibn al-Khattab used to say, “Rejoice! By Allah, I hope you will one day eat your fill of bread and oil.”

Abu Bakr added, “He meant: plentiful, ample dirhams.”
