205 – Muhammad said: “Buhlul ibn al-Muwarriq narrated to us, from Bishr ibn Mansur, from Thawr, from Khalid ibn Maʿdan, who said: ‘I read in some of the earlier writings: “Make your soul know hunger and strip it of ease, that perhaps your heart may behold Allah.”’”
