196 – Muhammad said: Qudamah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Makhramah ibn Bukayr ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Ashajj, from his father, who said: It used to be said, “Let not the stomach of any one of you become a liability; a few dates, a single meal, or a small portion is enough for him.”
