193 – Abu ‘Ali al-Marwazi narrated to us; he said: Abdan ibn ‘Uthman narrated to us; he said: ‘Abd Allah informed us; he said: Isma‘il ibn ‘Ayyash informed us; he said: Shurahbil ibn Muslim narrated, on the authority of ‘Amr ibn al-Aswad al-‘Anasi: “He used to leave plenty of room before reaching full satiety ⦗126⦘ out of fear of falling into self-indulgent arrogance.”
