134 – Muhammad narrated to me; he said: ‘Abd al-Jabbār ibn Abī Naṣr narrated to me; he said: Amatullāh bint Abī Naṣr narrated to me; she said: One day Salamah al-Aswārī said to a young man who had been sitting with him for a long while:

“Make prolonged hunger your constant practice, for indeed … you will rejoice in prolonged hunger on the Day of Taghābun, the Day of mutual loss and gain.”

She said: The young man let out a loud cry and was carried away from before him, collapsed.
