127 – Muhammad said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muhammad narrated to me; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to me, from Ziyad an-Numayri, who said:

“It has reached us that on the Day of Resurrection a man will be summoned. He will rise from the midst of those ranks, and his light will tower so high that people will ask, ‘Who is this whose light has ascended?’ A herald will announce, ‘This is a man who kept himself hungry and thirsty for Allah’s sake in the abode of this world.’”
