118 – Al-Qāsim ibn Zakariyyā ibn Dīnār al-Qurashī narrated to us; he said: Isḥāq ibn Manṣūr related to us, from ʿAbd al-Salām, who said: “We caught up with Ḥajjāj ibn Furāfiṣah on the road to Mecca. We offered him some sweet food, and he ate. We then asked him, ‘When was the last time you had anything to eat?’ He replied, ‘Three days ago.’”
