105 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to us; he said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Taymi narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Misʿar narrated to us; he said: Mālik remarked, “It is unfitting for a believer to let his belly be his chief concern, or to allow his appetite to dominate him.”
١٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْعَرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ مَالِكٌ: «مَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَطْنُهُ أَكْثَرَ هَمِّهِ، وَأَنْ تَكُونَ شَهْوَتُهُ هِيَ الْغَالِبَةَ عَلَيْهِ»
