94 – Muhammad said: Ahmad b. Sahl al-Urdunni related to me; he said: Abu Farwah al-Ansari narrated to us, from al-Sari b. Yanʿum, who said:

“It used to be said, ‘No servant goes hungry without Allah replacing his hunger with wisdom and pious restraint. ⦗77⦘ It was also said, ‘Hunger is the emblem of the prophets and the righteous.’”
