84 – I was informed by al-Muʿafā ibn ʿImrān, from Sufyān al-Thawrī, from ʿAmr ibn Qays al-Mulāʾī, who said: “Beware of overfilling the stomach, for it hardens the heart.”
٨٤ - حُدِّثْتُ عَنِ الْمُعَافَى بْنِ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ، قَالَ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْبِطْنَةَ، فَإِنَّهَا تُقَسِّي الْقَلْبَ»
