And Allah Most High has said:
“The one who brought the truth and those who affirmed it—it is they who are the God-fearing. They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of those who do good, so that Allah may absolve them of the worst of what they did and reward them according to the best of what they used to do.”
[Surah al-Zumar: 33–35]
And He said:
“Until, when he reaches full maturity and reaches forty years of age, he says, ‘My Lord, inspire me to be grateful for Your blessing which You have bestowed upon me and my parents, to perform righteous deeds that please You, and make my descendants righteous for me. I have indeed turned to You in repentance, and I am one of the Muslims.’ Such are those from whom We accept the best of what they did and whose misdeeds We overlook; they shall be among the people of Paradise—a true promise that they were given.”
[Surah al-Ahqāf: 15–16]
And He said in the account of Abraham, peace be upon him:
“Then Lot believed him, and he said, ‘I am emigrating to my Lord. He alone is the Almighty, the All-Wise.’”
[Surah al-Ankabūt: 26]
And He said in the account of Shuayb, peace be upon him:
“The arrogant chiefs among his people said, ‘O Shuayb, we will surely expel you and those who believe with you from our town, unless you return to our faith.’ He said, ‘Even if we detest it? We would indeed be fabricating a lie against Allah if we returned to your faith after Allah had delivered us from it. It is not for us to return to it unless Allah our Lord should will it. Our Lord encompasses all things in knowledge. In Allah we put our trust. Our Lord, judge between us and our people in truth, for You are the best of judges.’”
[Surah al-Arāf: 88–89]
And He said in Surah Ibrāhīm:
“Those who disbelieved said to their messengers, ‘We will surely expel you from our land unless you return to our faith.’ Their Lord then revealed to them, ‘We shall surely destroy the wrongdoers.’”
[Surah Ibrāhīm: 13]
