from it (1), and He is with His servants wherever they may be: He knows their circumstances, and Allah sees all that they do.
As for His words:
“Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who do good.” [Surah al-Nahl: 128]
The context indicates that what is meant is not merely His knowledge and power. Rather, He is with them in this through His support and aid, and He provides those who fear Him with a way out and sustenance from sources they do not expect.
Likewise, He says to Moses and Aaron:
“Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see.” [Surah Tā Hā: 46]
He is with them both through His support, aid, and assistance against Pharaoh and his people. This is like a person seeing someone he fears, whereupon one who supports him says, “We are with you,” meaning: we will assist you and help you against your enemy.
