Dāwūd. Ahmad said, “He is not trustworthy; most of the hadiths he narrates are falsehoods(1).” Yahyā said, “He is of no account.” Ibn al-Madīnī said, “He used to fabricate hadiths.” Al-Nasā’ī and Abū Hātim said, “His hadiths are to be rejected.” Ibn Hibbān al-Bustī said, “Abd al-Ghaffār ibn Qāsim used to drink wine until he became intoxicated, while also inverting transmitted reports. His reports may not be cited as evidence, and Ahmad and Yahyā rejected him(2).”
Ibn Abī Hātim also narrated it, but its chain includes Abd Allāh ibn Abd al-Quddūs, who is not trustworthy. Yahyā ibn Ma‘īn said of him, “He is of no account; he is a vile Rāfidī.” Al-Nasā’ī said, “He is not trustworthy,” and al-Dāraqutnī said, “He is weak(3).”
Al-Tha‘labī’s chain is even weaker, for it contains an unidentified narrator, as well as weak and accused narrators(4) whose reports could not be cited as evidence in even the most minor issue.

He is a rejected narrator, a liar, and a Shiite. Alī ibn al-Madīnī and others accused him of fabricating hadith, and the leading scholars—may Allah have mercy on them—declared him weak.”
(3) This is Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Quddūs al-Tamīmī al-Rāzī. Ibn Abī Hātim states concerning him in *al-Jarh wa-l-Ta‘dīl*, pt. 2, vol. [0–9], p. [0–9]04: “He narrated from al-Amash, Ubayd al-Mukattib, Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, and Layth ibn Abī Sulaym; Said ibn Sulaymān narrated from him.…” Al-Dhahabī states in *Mīzān al-I‘tidāl* (2:457): “A Kufan Rāfidī who settled in al-Rayy and narrated from al-Amash and others. Yahyā said: ‘He is of no account—a vile Rāfidī.’ Al-Nasā’ī and others said: ‘He is not trustworthy.’ Al-Dāraqutnī said: and Abū Mamar said: ‘Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Quddūs narrated to us; he was a Khashabī, an adherent of a Shiite faction.’”
