against one who disagrees with them. No form of fanaticism is worse than lying. Indeed, their fanaticism has even led them to assign the entire inheritance to a daughter so that they may claim that Fātimah—may Allah be pleased with her—inherited from the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—to the exclusion of his uncle al-Abbās [- may Allah be pleased with him -] (1).
Some of them have even declared camel meat forbidden (2) because Aisha fought while mounted on a camel. Thus, for a reason wholly unrelated to the matter, they contradicted the Book of Allah, the sunnah of His Messenger—peace and blessings be upon him—and the consensus of the Companions and the Prophet’s kinsfolk (3). Yet the camel that Aisha [may Allah be pleased with her] (4) rode died. Even supposing it were still alive, unbelievers’ riding camels would not make them forbidden. Unbelievers have always ridden camels (5), which the Muslims have taken from them as spoils, and their meat is lawful for the Muslims. What is there about Aisha’s riding a camel that (6) would entail forbidding its meat?
At most, all they can suppose is that someone whom they deem an unbeliever rode a camel (7), even though they are lying fabricators in the accusations they level against the Mother of the Believers—may Allah be pleased with her.
Another manifestation of their fanaticism is that they do not use the word (8) “ten,” but instead say, “nine and one.” When they construct pillars or anything else, they do not make ten of them, and they deliberately observe this practice in many of their affairs.
