But this is the way of the Rāfida: they invariably oppose Allah’s God-fearing allies—the earliest and foremost of the Emigrants and Helpers and those who followed them with excellence—while taking the disbelievers and hypocrites as allies. Indeed, the most hypocritical of those who profess affiliation with Islam are (1) the heretical esoteric Ismailis. Thus, whoever cites their statements in support (2) of his position, despite what has already been mentioned of his attacks on the statements (3) of the Muslim imams, is among those who show the greatest allegiance to the hypocrites and the greatest hostility toward the believers.
It is astonishing that this author (4), the [vile] (5) Rāfidi liar and fabricator, levels monstrous allegations against Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, all the earliest and foremost (6), the Followers, and the rest of the Muslim imams—men of knowledge and religion—allegations that he and his brethren fabricate against them (7). Yet when he comes to someone well known among the Muslims for his opposition—N, M: “his opposing Allah and His Messenger”; W: “his opposition to Allah and to His Messenger”—to Allah and His Messenger, he says (8), “Our greatest shaykh said,” and says (9), “May Allah sanctify his soul,” even though he testifies that this man and others like him are disbelievers, and even though his sect curses the best (10) of the believers from the earlier and later generations.
