and we ask Allah—exalted is He—to grant us and you true sincerity, for sincerity is everything. Give no share of your worship to anyone; dedicate it wholly to Allah alone so that it may be accepted by Him. It is authentically reported from the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—in a narration from his Lord that He said: “I am the One most free of need of any partner; whoever performs a deed in which he associates someone else with Me, I abandon him and his act of association.” And Allah is the giver of success.
