But where is the one ready to seize these spoils? Where is the person who purifies his intention and seeks his reward from Allah? So, my brother, I advise you—and myself as well—to be constantly keen on investing every deed with a righteous intention, so that it may serve as a treasure for you with Allah on the Day of Resurrection. How many a small act has become great through intention, and how many a seemingly great act has been diminished by heedlessness!
