Sharḥ Riyāḍ al-ṢāliḥīnIbn al-'Uthaymin

or be led astray by someone else. “Or slip” —the word zalla denotes a lapse or mistake; “or be made to slip,” that is, that someone manages to induce me to commit an error. “Or wrong,” meaning that I wrong another; “or be wronged,” that someone else wrongs me. “Or act ignorantly,” that I behave foolishly; “or have ignorance shown toward me,” that someone acts foolishly toward me or transgresses against me. This dhikr should be recited when one leaves the house, for it expresses turning to Allah—exalted is He—and seeking His protection. Allah is the One who grants success.
