Whenever I note at the end of a narration, “muttafaqun ʿalayh,” it means that the hadith is reported by both al-Bukhari and Muslim.
I pray that, once this book is complete, it will steer its devoted reader toward all that is good and restrain him from every sort of vice and ruinous deed.
I ask any brother who benefits from it to supplicate for me, for my parents, for my teachers, for all our loved ones, and for the entire Muslim community. In the Generous Lord alone I place my trust; to Him I consign my affairs and upon Him I rely. Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs. There is no power and no strength except through Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
