Sharḥ Riyāḍ al-ṢāliḥīnIbn al-'Uthaymin

my sight to me; so take whatever you wish and leave whatever you wish. By Allah, I will not press you today about anything you take for Allah’s sake.”
The angel answered, “Keep your wealth. You were only being tried. Allah is pleased with you, and He is angry with your two companions.” Agreed upon.

The word al-ʿishrāʾ (with ʿayn ḍammah, shīn fatḥah, and an extended vowel) denotes a pregnant she-camel.
His phrase “intij”—in another narration “fa-nataj”—means to oversee her delivery; the nātij for a she-camel is like the midwife for a woman.
Likewise, the expression “wallada hādhā,” with a doubled lām, means he supervised her birthing; it carries the same sense as intij when speaking of a camel. Thus al-muwallid, al-nātij, and al-qābilah all convey one meaning, though the first two apply to animals and the last to humans.
The statement “inqataʿat bī al-ḥibāl,” with ḥāʾ and a single bāʾ, means: the means (asbāb) have been cut off.
The words “lā ujhiduka” signify: I will not burden you by asking you to return anything you take or request from my property.
In al-Bukhārī’s version it reads “lā aḥmaduka,” with ḥāʾ and mīm, meaning: I will not blame you for leaving something you might need—just as they say, “There is no regret over a long life,” i.e., over missing out on its length.

Explanation: His words, “Three men from the Children of Israel…”—Israel is Isaac son of Abraham, peace be upon them, the brother of Ishmael. From Israel’s descendants are Moses, Aaron, Jesus, and the entire Children of Israel; all of them trace back to Isaac, upon him be peace. Ishmael is Isaac’s brother, so they and the Arabs are first cousins. And there have come narrations
