Sharḥ Riyāḍ al-ṢāliḥīnIbn al-'Uthaymin

1851 – Abu Hurayrah (d. 57 AH) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People, Allah is pure and accepts only what is pure. Allah has commanded the believers with the same command He gave to the messengers. He, Exalted is He, said, ‘O Messengers, eat of what is wholesome and act righteously’ and He said, ‘O you who believe, eat of the wholesome things We have provided for you.’ The Prophet then mentioned a man who has travelled a long way, hair dishevelled and covered in dust. He stretches out his hands toward the sky, crying, ‘My Lord, my Lord!’ yet his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he has been nourished on the unlawful. How then can his supplication be answered?" Narrated by Muslim.

1852 – Abu Hurayrah (d. 57 AH) also reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Three kinds of people will not be spoken to by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them or look at them, and theirs will be a painful punishment…"
