sounding clay like baked pottery, for the earth first became mud and then hardened into pottery-clay; from that Allah fashioned Adam, upon him be peace. Thus Allah the Exalted says: “From it We created you, into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you forth once again” (Quran 20:55).

Her third hadith relates that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and whoever detests meeting Allah, Allah detests meeting him.” ʿĀʾishah asked, “Is it aversion to death, O Messenger of Allah? For all of us dislike death.” He replied, “It is not that.” The Prophet explained that when a person loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. A believer knows what Allah has prepared in Paradise for the faithful—immense reward and boundless generosity—so he longs for it; this world grows paltry in his eyes and no longer concerns him, for he is about to pass on to something far better. Consequently, he loves to meet Allah, especially at the moment of death, when he is given the glad tidings of divine pleasure and mercy; then he yearns for Allah Most High, and Allah loves to meet him.
As for the disbeliever—Allah forbid—when he is informed of Allah’s punishment and wrath, he loathes to meet Allah, and Allah loathes to meet him. Hence it is reported about the one in the throes of death that when the soul of the disbeliever is given the tidings of anger and displeasure, it scatters throughout his body and refuses to depart; therefore the soul is wrenched out
